My Favorite Martin!

Thank you Curtis Martin for all the memories. Thank Curtis Martin for being a Jet. Thank you Curtis Martin for always being a work horse all those years. Ok I am about to cry.

I also want to thank the Jets for strategically arranging all the other players around Curtis Martin that brought all of those Superbowl rings to our beloved Jets. Curtis, seriously thank you a million times for giving it your all. I am embarrassed that you had to end your career as a Jet and no rings.

OK, lets move on...

...because we have Leon Washington baby! And he is the only real thing to tune in on Sundays for.

And if in two years he doesn't work out...

...the Jets can draft two time Hiesman Winner (by the time that draft comes) Ray Rice from Rutgers.

I agree, Curtis Martin is the man. I think he is my all-time favorite Jet. It's too bad they don't have him now, they would be at least 6-2.

I won't even touch the Ray Rice comment, except to say I hope that the Jets do not draft him and he will never win a Heisman.

First off Curtis isn't retiring. They made that perfectly clear. He just isn't playing this year.

Chillax!

Curtis Martin has a bone to bone knee. That means he has NO KNEE.

That is why he is not playing now. That is why he will be retiring. Trust me, he is done. I have inside info.

I loved Curtis from the first day he got here. But can we all stop being delusional.

Curtis Martin is not a true Jet and will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame as a Patriot.

There better not be any Pats fans snooping around this blog!!!

The best runningback the Pats will ever have is Craig James. If Martin wanted to retire as a Patriot, he would have never left. Kraft turned him off so he left.

The fall of the Pats will be not retaining Adam Venitere (however you spell his name) and jerking around Deion Branch. The Pats are so brainwashed by Belechick's "system" that they forget that "people" are on the feild playing.

I think it's pretty funny Bellijerk's son got arrested on a pot charge. It's obviously not a big deal but I could only imagine how pissed the Jerk was. Probably told his son to run 100 laps or something, and I just picture the weird, (bizarrely cast) character who played Christopher Walken's character's son in "Wedding Crashers" as the Jerk's son.

Anyway, I don't know what team Curtis will go into the Hall with, but I think it may be the Jets. Shit, he has played here for how long? The Pats was a long time ago, and he hasn't (to my limited knowledge) won a Super Bowl with either (it ain't the Jets at least), so why not the Jets? Either way, I won't begrudge the guy, he is a class act.

I just updated my profile. It's brillant. By the way, GF, we all know the real picture you should have put as my ID photo or whatever the hell you call it. Although, the poor guy probably would run across it somehow and would end up commiting suicide by cutting off his own fake head.

Although, I do like my smurf fake he-man GF, I will definitely keep it.

Update:

Curtis Martin has been with the Jets since 1998 and he never won a SB with the Pats. He is going into the Hall as a Jet.

Nice try nonny boy!

I think Curtis will come back despite the injury. If not why didn't he pull a Tiki and tell everyone he is retiring so he can pursue the vast amount of pursuers in the broadcast industry...I mean what the world truly needs right now is another talk show host.

Tiki's a joke...

Curtis is the man...

PS - he'll retire a Jet because New England is a sissy area...and Curtis ain't no sissy. You can have your John Kerry's (stay in school kids), your kennedy's (glug, glug, crash...), your Barney Frank's (if I knew how to make a perverted spanking noise here I would)...You can have those liberal losers.

We get to keep Curtis...

When was the last time the Jets won a Super Bowl? Was it 2001, 2003 or 2004?

Hey, we haven't won in a little while, there's no doubt about that!

But the tides are changing in NE. No more Vineterie, Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Charlie Weiss, Deione Branch.

Belechick is in love with his stupid "system" and forgets about the people that helped him win. Soon as Tom Brady wants to make some real money he will be out of there (bc the Pats won't pay him) and so will all future SB hopes.

Caymus67 said...

The Patriots will win the AFC East and be the #1 or #2 seed. We compete for Super Bowls every year. The "system" must be working. You can only hope one of Bill's disciples can put the Jets in the same position 3 or 4 years down the road.

That's the spirit! I like the adversity and I respect it. Plus, you have a point Caymus. That being said, I hope the Pats do screw over Brady so the Jets have a chance to pick him up one day!

Unruly Jets Fan said...

fakehead you traitor!!!

Caymus' "numbers" are as currupt as Belechicks "system"!!!

I heard from an inside source that Belechick is part Fembot. You might remember Fembots from the Bionic Woman show. Somebody saw him take off his face and saw all the electronic parts.

That is why he doesn't see the logic of keeping his key players and coaches. He is so robotic that he cannot reason or understand feelings.

I hate Bellijerk as much as the next guy. I just like the fact that somebody besides you, me and GF is reading this blog.

Let's Go Jets! I know they won't lose this Sunday!

Me too!

Given that your home town team is idle this week preparing for their annual beating in Foxborough on 11/12, you can write about the Sunday night game between the two best teams in the AFC. The "genius" will have the right game plan prepared and the "system" will work once again --- Patriots 24 Colts 20.
